Hear ye, hear ye!
Come one, come all, to the Internet’s grand opening of Roleplaying Tavern!
Roleplaying Tavern is a brand new podcast for WoW players interested in RP, hosted by two young enterprising women. Taking the names of one of their WoW characters each, Demis (from Blackwater Raiders) and Deadlei (from Earthen Ring) already have their first episode live, where they introduce themselves and their characters, cover such RP topics as Blizzard’s Roleplaying Policy and what it has to say about character names, and also speak their minds on answering ‘what is roleplaying?’. Their discussion of the lore of the Draenei is especially entertaining and informative!
As an added feature, their blog page also hosts a poll question for viewers to vote on, with the current question on the subject of roleplaying mistakes. I’m hoping they keep the questions polled there RP related, as I think that’s a great tool for podcaster – to – listener communication. They also have a couple other ways for their audience to get and stay in touch with them, via e-mail, Skype, and by subscribing to the podcast through Yahoo! and Google, all listed on the page. FYI, they are also available through iTunes.
If it looks and sounds like Roleplaying Tavern may have something in common with RoleCraft, you would be correct, in that both sites deem to help spread the love of WoW RP. I also count Demis and Deadlei and their RL counterparts among my ‘webfriends’, having been introduced to them through WoW and our mutual fondness for RP. I’m sure you’ll see a fare share of crossover chat between our sites, all for the benefit of WoW RP’ers.
So, drop in to Roleplaying Tavern, pour yourself a pint of grog, sit a spell and listen to the tales of Demis and Deadlei. RP ftw!
